Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Op

Unit Information

Unit: Same Day Surgery (Pre Op, PAT, Phase II Recovery)
Number of Beds: 23
Patient Ratios: 1:1 in Pre Op and PAT, 1:4 in Phase II Recovery
Staffing: Two unit secretaries and two patient care technicians (PCTs)
Documentation System: Meditech
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (no weekends or major holidays)
Floating Policy: None
Dress Code: OR scrubs required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
Pre-Op experience
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
