Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (Pediatrics) - Travel/Contract
Location
- Lanham, Maryland
Position Details
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist)
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- No weekends or holidays required
Required Experience and Skills
- Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience is required
- Feeding and swallowing skills with pediatric patients are required
Required Qualifications and Certifications
- Valid Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist license in Maryland
- Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 30 days of start, including latex allergy information
- Fit test for N95 or equivalent mask within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Immunizations or titers with lab values required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (series and quantitative antibody titer)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (Tdap within 10 years)
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSPOT) within 60 days of start or chest x-ray if previously positive
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination or declination required for tracking purposes
- 10-panel drug screen including marijuana within 30 days of start
Additional Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety modules prior to start
- Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (recent, full face, plain background, no alterations)
- Two professional references dated within the past two years (preferably supervisors/managers)
- Employment application and skills checklist required before start
- Facility-specific training modules and acknowledgments as assigned

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
This position is ideal for a pediatric SLP with strong feeding and swallowing skills seeking a 13-week travel contract with day shifts and no weekend or holiday work.
