Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Davie, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

• Location: 2nd floor within the Operating Room (OR)
• Number of labs: 1
• Staff: 4 nurses, 1 Radiology Tech (all day shift)
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Equipment: GE
• EMR system: Meditech
• Call requirements: Rotating call for Interventional Radiology only; Cath Lab is diagnostic only

Typical Procedures

• Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic only)
• Interventional radiology (all areas except neuro)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
