Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Akron, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)
• Holiday shift with 1 weekend day of call per month
• Weekend rotation included
• Willingness to learn OR/Procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year

Health & Safety Requirements

• Annual influenza vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
• TB questionnaire if history of positive TB test, signed by a licensed provider, required annually
• Latex allergy notification if applicable (facility stocks latex-free gloves)

Additional Information

• Background checks must be updated if there is a break in service of 2 or more months
• Fingerprinting results must be received prior to contract extension; some Radiology/Cardiology specialties cannot start with pending results
• Facility onboarding modules must be completed prior to clearance to start; travelers will pick up badge after completion
• Physical exam does not need annual update if no break in employment at the facility
• Travelers with a break greater than 6 months between assignments may need to repeat onboarding modules
• Traveler’s legal name must be used consistently in all documentation systems
