Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)
Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, and Mother Baby units.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and lactation consultants to support birthing preferences and needs.
- Work in a hospital recognized for high patient satisfaction and experience, with 24-hour emergency and hospitalist coverage.
- Facility offers specialized operating rooms for Cesarean births and round-the-clock delivery services including anesthesia.
- Must have own vehicle for assignment.
- Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be submitted and approved upfront; no more than 5 days allowed. Scheduling requests after submission or at interview will not be approved and may lead to offer rescindment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Post Partum experience
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Active STABLE certification (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, Emotional Support)
- Driver's License
Additional Information
- Orientation: 8 hours non-billable.
- Holiday and overtime multipliers apply.
- Facility is a Joint Commission accredited community hospital and a Massachusetts DPH Primary Stroke Center.
- Offers a full range of inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and ancillary services supporting comprehensive patient care.
