Description
Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location
- Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday off
- Unit uses a self-scheduling model (manager will explain; no guaranteed schedule but attempts to accommodate)
Unit and Patient Population
- Children's hospital
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience working with neonate patients
- Level 4 NICU experience
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
