Description

Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Location

Charlottesville, Virginia

Employment Type

Travel/Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday off
Unit uses a self-scheduling model (manager will explain; no guaranteed schedule but attempts to accommodate)

Unit and Patient Population

Children's hospital
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience preferred

Required Qualifications

Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience working with neonate patients
Level 4 NICU experience
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
