Medical Lab Technician - Travel/Contract

Location: Plains, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night shift options: 3 or 4 shifts per week, each 12 hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours

Required Qualifications

• Valid Medical Lab Technician license in Montana
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Technician
• Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually)
• N95 fit test within 12 months of start; updated annually (PAPR accommodation available if needed)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year of start; chest X-ray within 6 months if TB positive; TB test required annually
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination accepted)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox)
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific compliance checklist
• Annual skills checklist required
