Description
Radiologic Technologist
Location: Morristown, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Nights / Varied — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, including CT scans. The role also involves portable imaging, C-arm operation, patient transport, clerical tasks, and use of the hospital computer system and PACS.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Vermont
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT
- Radiology Technologist experience
Key Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Adjust technical factors to minimize radiation exposure
- Follow radiation safety practices
- Assume temporary responsibility for patients during x-ray procedures
- Support the psycho-social needs of the patient population served
