Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- OTR Certification
- Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in inpatient rehab
Schedule Expectations
- Open to working weekends
- Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Work Setting Details
- Inpatient rehab unit
- Floating to other inpatient rehab units is possible
Common Duties
- ADLs
- Evaluations
- Usual inpatient rehab treatments
Unit Snapshot
- 32 beds
- About 35 therapists and 50 nurses on staff
- Day shift staffing includes 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 rehab aide, 7 nurses, 3 PCTs, and 1 UC
- Expecting 5 to 12 six-hour treatment sessions
