PCU RN Travel/Contract Job

Location

Rochester, New York

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12 hours
Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of nursing experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Ability to manage 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio in Medical-Surgical settings
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Non-invasive airway management
Experience with Epic

Job Details

First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates must live within 75 miles
Med-surg/step-down patient population with telemetry monitoring
Care includes dysrhythmia management, rapid response/code team support, peripheral line care, oxygen support, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
