Surgical Room RN

Overview

• Contract role
• 13-week assignment
• 40 hours per week
• Day shift
• Operating room setting with adult and pediatric surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS
• CSA
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Orthopedic Surgery experience
• Neurosurgery experience
• Bariatric experience
• Urology experience
• ENT Surgery experience

Preferred

• AORN certification
• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities
• Strong EPIC skills

Schedule

• Shift times may include 0630-1500, 0630-1700, or 0630-1900
• On-call required
• 4 weeknight call shifts per month
• 1 full weekend call per month
• 30-minute response time
• Holiday coverage is call only
• Time off requests require manager approval

Unit Details

• 10 suites, with 7 rooms running at a time
• Typical volume is 12-20 cases per day
• No floating

Orientation

• 1 week of orientation with a preceptor
