Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Operating Room experience within the last year
3 years of Operating Room experience
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Assignment Details

15 operating rooms
Average daily volume: 25–45 cases
Case mix includes general, GYN, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, ortho, spine, EENT, and cardiothoracic
Charge RN is present 24/7 and does not take a patient assignment
Surgical tech support is available
CNA support is available
Floating is not required

Call Requirements

Approximately once per week on weeknights
Every 3rd to 4th weekend
Holiday call required

Additional Information

Scrubs are provided
Casual professional dress is required when entering and leaving the facility
1 week of unit-specific orientation
Drug screen required
Requested time off must be submitted with the application
Last four digits of SSN and clinician middle initial are required for submission
