Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- High-risk labor and delivery
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- First-time travelers accepted
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope to postpartum
- Local candidates not accepted within 100 miles
- Pending license accepted
- Block scheduling not available
- On-call not required
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with Epic
Responsibilities / Clinical Experience
- High-risk labor and delivery care
- C/Births
- Postpartum tubal ligations
- D and C
- Cerclage placement and removal
- Waterbirth
Additional Notes
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap required
- TB screening required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and respiratory safety clearance requirements apply
- Background check and Minnesota DHS clearance requirements apply
- References are not required for client clearance
- Drug testing is not required for client clearance
- Scrubs are provided by the unit
