Description

Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours
  • 36 hours per week
  • High-risk labor and delivery
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required within scope to postpartum
  • Local candidates not accepted within 100 miles
  • Pending license accepted
  • Block scheduling not available
  • On-call not required

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in Minnesota
  • 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • Experience with Epic

Responsibilities / Clinical Experience

  • High-risk labor and delivery care
  • C/Births
  • Postpartum tubal ligations
  • D and C
  • Cerclage placement and removal
  • Waterbirth

Additional Notes

  • Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
  • Tdap required
  • TB screening required
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and respiratory safety clearance requirements apply
  • Background check and Minnesota DHS clearance requirements apply
  • References are not required for client clearance
  • Drug testing is not required for client clearance
  • Scrubs are provided by the unit
