Computed Tomography Technologist
Job Overview
- Location: Des Moines, Iowa
- Employment type: Temp
- Shift: Nights
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Floating: May float across campuses
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa
- CT Technologist (3 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
- Proficient experience using Siemens CT equipment
- Proficient experience using GE CT equipment
- Experience with power injection contrast injectors
- Recent stroke imaging experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Iowa radiology license
- GE CT experience
- Recent Level I trauma experience
- Professional reference from within the past 24 months
Additional Details
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
- Orientation dates: 9/28 or 10/5
- Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- Scrubs: Charcoal gray
- Uses EPIC
- Patient ages: all ages
- Equipment includes Siemens CT and GE CT
