Description
ICU RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Idaho Falls, Idaho
- 13-week contract
- Night shift
- 36 hours per week
Schedule
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend
- Floating may be required to ED and step-down
- On-call only when census drops
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ventilator management
- ABG interpretation
- Vasoactive drip titration
- Hemodynamic monitoring
Preferred / Welcome
- TNCC
- ABLS
Unit Details
- 29-bed ICU
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, occasionally 1:3 for patients ready to leave ICU
- No CNAs
- One tele monitor
- Navy blue scrubs required
Clinical Skills / Experience Needed
- Vent management
- ABG interpretation
- Vasoactive drip titration
- Hemodynamic monitoring
Procedures on Unit
- Intubations
- Central line placement
- Bronchoscopy
- Bedside trach placement
- PEG tube placement
