Cath Lab Tech

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Bloomington, Indiana
  • Day shift: 4x10s, 6:30a–5:00p, Monday–Friday
  • On-call: about one evening per week and every 4th weekend, with a 30-minute response time
  • Locals accepted
  • Pending license accepted if the application has already been submitted
  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Indiana
  • Cath Lab Technologist (1.5 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Certifications and Health Requirements

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • CHEMO - Chemotherapy
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Color blind testing required
  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit mask test within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • TB questionnaire required and updated annually
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity documentation required
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
  • Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement required
  • Background check required within 90 days of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
  • Transcript or diploma required
  • Education verification required

Preferred

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap is preferred, but not required
