NICU/PICU Therapist
Overview
- Travel role in Orlando, Florida
- 1 opening
- 3x12 day shift, 06:45–19:15
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend hours are variable
- No call requirements
- No float requirements
Unit
- Level IV NICU
- 142-bed NICU
- Patient ratio: 1:6–8, acuity based
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
- NICU Level 3 or 4 experience
- Ventilator management including HFOV and Jet
- Nitric oxide therapy experience
- Bubble CPAP experience
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Preferred Qualifications
- NAVA
- Arterial puncture
Additional Details
- High-acuity patient population
- Positive, professional, team-oriented candidate who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced NICU environment
- Scrubs may be any color except OR/surgical green
