Registered Nurse - ED/Trauma
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role primarily involves providing care to an adult patient population. The position follows standards adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Trauma Emergency Room (ER) or Emergency Department (ED) settings
- Trauma experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC)
Additional Information
- Demonstrated professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice consistent with completion of accredited nursing education.
- Competency in delivery of care to primarily adult patients in an inpatient environment.
