Description
Medical Lab Technician
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Work Area: Chemistry side of the laboratory
Job Summary
Perform select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens under direct supervision, using manual techniques or laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
- Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Technician
- Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
