Description

Medical Lab Technician

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Work Area: Chemistry side of the laboratory

Job Summary

Perform select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens under direct supervision, using manual techniques or laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Technician
Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
