Description

RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care to adult oncology infusion patients under general supervision.
Administer chemotherapy drugs, PO and SC injections, and other medications as ordered by physicians.
Consult with medical personnel regarding chemotherapy and side effects.
Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures.
Monitor and document patient physiological data and responses to treatments.
Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
Educate patients and families about chemotherapy, clinic procedures, and care plans.
Coordinate patient follow-up activities, referrals, and phone triage after clinic visits.
Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Minimum of 1 year of Hematology/Oncology infusion nursing experience within the last year
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Must be able to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
