Registered Nurse - Surgery

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing - Travel)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 2nd Shift (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM), Monday through Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: No weekends, no holidays, no on-call

Job Description

• Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for primarily adult inpatients.
• Deliver care consistent with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
• Demonstrate clinical competence and experience in managing patient populations specific to surgical nursing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience, with recent Med Surg experience within the last year.
• Operating Room (OR) experience.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

• Experience in surgical nursing care and patient management is required.
• No explicit prior travel experience required.
