Clinical Therapist II

Location

Belle Mead, New Jersey

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend requirement
• No holiday requirement
• No on-call requirement
• No floating outside the assigned residential program

Contract Length

• 32 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling with a minimum of 4 years of post-master's experience
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in New Jersey
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (4 years of experience)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience within the last year
• Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• National Association of Social Workers Supervisor certification

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy
• Complete social assessments, joint care reviews, and strength and needs assessments
• Write treatment plans, discharge summaries, letters, contracts, and other required clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with schools, outside agencies, residential staff, psychiatrists, and families
• Manage family contact, furloughs, and related documentation
• Support safety planning, crisis management, and medication-related coordination
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision, committee work, quality improvement, and clinical audits
• Assist with staff orientation, training, and intern oversight
• Develop family training and groups as directed

• This role serves adolescents in a residential setting
• The role includes working with youth’s outside agencies and insurance authorization-related treatment planning
