Clinical Therapist II
Overview
- Provides clinical and therapeutic services to adolescent residential program residents and their families.
- Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 10:00 AM-6:00 PM.
- No weekend, holiday, on-call, or floating requirement outside the assigned residential program.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
- Valid Clinical Therapist license in New Jersey.
- Clinical Therapist experience within the last year.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-Master's degree (MSW or Counseling) experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical services experience with youth and young adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance use treatment needs.
- Experience with an integrated assessment approach resulting in individualized and holistic treatment plans.
- Experience with trauma-informed evidence-based practices for substance use behavior change.
- Experience delivering psycho-educational groups for age-appropriate pro-social learning and life-skill development.
- Trained in individual and group psychotherapy techniques.
- Knowledge of psychopathology and differential diagnosis and treatment techniques.
- BLS.
- Valid Driver's License.
