Location

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 12-hour shifts
• 48 hours per week

Role Summary

• Provides hospital-based nursing care for patients with a range of health problems.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
• Monitors patient physiological data and intervenes when necessary.
• Administers medications and manages intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families.
• Delegates tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Stepdown experience

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
