Location

• Morristown, New Jersey

Schedule

• Day shift
• 38 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Either Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 AM–6:30 PM, or Tuesday–Saturday, 10:30 AM–6:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Echo Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential through ARDMS or CCI
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience working with adult patients
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Proficiency in valvular assessment, spectral Doppler, and Pedoff skills
• Experience with agitated saline studies
• Ability to work independently, recognize abnormalities, and respond quickly to critical findings

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program
• TEE and stress echo experience
• Familiarity with 3D echo imaging
• Experience with TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols
• Experience maintaining ICAEL-accreditation echo lab standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and explain procedures
• Perform ultrasound procedures and monitor patients during the process
• Set up equipment for procedures
• Review prior reports, images, and patient charts
• Ensure proper images are obtained and studies are complete
• Maintain records and logs of exams performed
• Manage inventory and supply purchases for the assigned area
