RN Oncology - Hemo
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- 1 year of hematology / oncology experience within the last year
- Stepdown experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Job Overview
- Provides nursing care to hospital patients with a range of health problems
- Responsible for an assigned group of patients
- Administers medications, monitors IV infusions and blood products, and documents patient responses
- Assists with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatment
- Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families
- Delegates tasks to support staff
