RN Oncology Clinic
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 8 hours per day
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current chemotherapy certification
- At least 1 year of chemotherapy experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of oncology experience
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a board-approved program
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care to patients with a range of health problems under general supervision
- Manages an assigned group of patients
- Administers medications and intravenous infusions, including blood products
- Documents patient responses and changes in physician orders
- Assists with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Coordinates care with patients, families, and support staff
