Mammography Technician
Location
Brooklyn, New York
Contract
9 weeks
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in New York
- Mammography Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT
Preferred Experience
- Biopsy experience
- Stereotactic experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography
- Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factor evaluation
- Label radiographic images according to department SOP
- Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure timely transmission to PACS
- Complete studies in IDX
- Record required patient tracking information in the tracking system
