Description

One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging providers, with more than 300 locations throughout nation, has an immediate need for an experienced Mammography Technologist. This company has a tremendous reputation for innovation and state of the art equipment in a modern and patient friendly setting!
Type: Initial 13-week contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Location: New York, NY (near Midtown Manhattan)
Job Description
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The person in this position responds to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding personal health information, including but not limited to, patient diagnosis, health history, demographics, and referral information. This person is responsible for all paperwork associated with technical procedures and responds to physician questions and needs regarding patient procedures. Some technologists may work under the direct medical supervision of a physician during certain procedures.
Requirements:
NYSDOH State Radiologic Technologist License
ARRT (M) Certification
Minimum 2+ years of experience
Diagnostic, screening, stereo, & biospy expereience required
BLS certification required

Mitchell Martin Healthcare Job ID #26-15771. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
