Description

RN - Telemetry - Travel

Job Overview

Location: New York, New York
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, every other weekend
Hours per week: 34.5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year or more of total travel experience
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ventilator experience

Preferred Qualifications

Med-surg experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Associate degree in nursing considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program
EPIC experience highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
Assess patient needs, coordinate care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions, health promotion, and disease prevention
Support patient experience through relationship-centered care, rounding, and service recovery
Contribute to quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly
Help manage supplies, staffing resources, and patient throughput
