CT Technologist
Schedule
- Overnight, Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM
Assignment Length
- 9 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New York
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ARRT (CT)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques
- Complete daily quality control calibration checks and other quality assurance/safety tests
- Administer radioactive material and radiopharmaceutical doses per physician order and protocol
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
- Maintain required logs, manuals, charge documents, and equipment problem reports
- Maintain and retrieve patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation
- Order, receive, and verify patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses before administration
