Location

• Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts

Role Summary

• Provides nursing care in a specialty area under general supervision.
• Responsible for assigned patients, documentation, medication administration, IV infusions and blood products, patient/family communication, coordination with support staff, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
• 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing excellent specialized care

Preferred Experience

• Experience in at least 2 of the following: Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR

Preferred Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program

• May require completion of orientation and ability to function independently in the assigned specialty area prior to being assigned to this position
