Description

RN - Cancer Center Infusion

Overview

Location: New York, New York
Contract length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends
Work setting: Central office-based, not at a cancer facility
Travel: Requires travel to select facilities during the assignment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
Infusion experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ONS/ONCC
IV insertion skills
Phlebotomy skills
Preceptor experience

Role Focus

Develop, coordinate, and deliver evidence-based educational programs and competency validation for oncology nursing staff
Collaborate with nurse leadership, clinical specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to support orientation, professional development, and continuing education
Monitor compliance with oncology-specific regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards, including ONS guidelines and chemotherapy/immunotherapy competency requirements
