RN - Cancer Center Infusion
Overview
- Location: New York, New York
- Contract length: 14 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends
- Work setting: Central office-based, not at a cancer facility
- Travel: Requires travel to select facilities during the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- Infusion experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- IV insertion skills
- Phlebotomy skills
- Preceptor experience
Role Focus
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver evidence-based educational programs and competency validation for oncology nursing staff
- Collaborate with nurse leadership, clinical specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to support orientation, professional development, and continuing education
- Monitor compliance with oncology-specific regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards, including ONS guidelines and chemotherapy/immunotherapy competency requirements
