Staff Nurse

Location

• Johnson City, New York

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• ONS/ONCC
• 6 months of oncology experience within the last year
• 6 months to 3 years of nursing (RN) experience
• 0 to 3 years of management experience
• 5 or more years of direct experience
• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Med Surg experience
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
• Relevant skills certification as required by the home unit assigned

• Chemo administration experience is highly preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients

• Engage in professional development and mandatory education
• Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice
• Support new employees and students
