RN - Progressive Care Unit
Location
Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length
16 weeks
Shift
Night shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
Schedule Details
- 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend
Job Responsibilities
- Performs assessments and reassessments
- Initiates, prioritizes, implements, reviews, and revises the plan of care
- Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary services
- Monitors and documents response to clinical interventions
- Provides and coordinates patient and family education
- Delegates tasks, mentors/precepts staff, and supports teamwork
- Participates in quality, safety, service improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts
