Description

Qualifications/Skills:
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
ARRT (VI) or (CV) certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience in a hospital setting
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Proficient in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures (e.g., angiograms, embolizations, stent placements)
Strong understanding of radiation safety, sterile technique, and image-guided procedural protocols
Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff
Skilled in operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, C-arms, and CT-guided systems
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace

Staff and management are very friendly. The ratios are pretty good. Sometimes it gets very busy and sometimes transport is put in by someone else before you even have the patient ready to go. They are very flexible with scheduling and their weekend requirements are reasonable.
