Description

Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied

Job Summary

Perform computerized tomographic (CT) radiographs following established practices and procedures.
Review exams for clinical appropriateness and prioritize effectively.
Communicate critical situations clearly.
Knowledgeable about hospital policies and procedures.
Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of current CT technologist experience.

Education & Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
BLS certification required (from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute).
Primary ARRT certification required.
New Mexico State License required.
ARRT(CT) certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Epic system preferred.

Additional Information

Dosimeter (radiation dose badge) use is mandatory for monitoring radiation exposure.
Agencies must provide and manage dose badges, which are replaced and evaluated quarterly to ensure safety compliance.
Failure to supply a dose badge can result in contract termination due to safety and regulatory concerns.
