Job Opportunity: CT Technologist II

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks


Job Summary

This intermediate-level CT Technologist position involves delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of simple to complex conditions. Work is performed under general to limited supervision with the ability to accept independent clinical and non-clinical assignments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain competencies required for Level I technologist duties.
  • Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures within scope of practice.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Transfer images and data to archival systems, enter technical findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of equipment following manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
  • Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
  • Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification or registration as a cardiovascular or radiologic technologist.
  • Core to intermediate-level knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies, and related terminology.
  • Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and staff.
  • Ability to multi-task, remain calm under stress, and exercise sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.
  • Dependable with consistent attendance and ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle clinical data responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technologist in the specialty area.

  • The role involves working in a variety of care settings and may include emergent conditions.
