Radiographer II

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform advanced-level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision.
  • Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned (e.g., surgery, trauma, pediatrics).
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic exams and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
  • Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and/or film output issues.
  • Serve as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and/or students.
  • May participate in training programs to enhance skills in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures.
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the primary area of responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (overnight shift)
  • One call shift per month

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician, with experience within the last year.

Licensure

  • Must hold appropriate licensure or certification as a Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist) as required by the state of Oklahoma.
