Job Summary

• Provide individualized patient care in an outpatient infusion setting under the supervision of the Director.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise care according to departmental policies and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients/families, and healthcare team members to deliver care plans.
• May be required to float to other nursing units within the cluster or similar departments.
• Care is provided to adult ambulatory patients.

• Blood products
• IVIGs
• Antibiotics
• Chemo injections
• Immunotherapies

Required Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS/AHA certification.
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
• Minimum of 1 year clinical RN experience in outpatient chemotherapy/infusion (required).
• Epic electronic health record experience: 6 to 12 months within the past year.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (not required but a plus).
• Willingness to float within the cluster or similar departments is highly desirable.

Additional Information

• Applicants will be screened with basic clinical oncology/infusion questions.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the adult patient population served.
