Description

Job Summary:

Provide competent and appropriate nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring systematic and comprehensive assessments.
Perform direct patient care activities, including pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation, adhering to established guidelines.
Demonstrate professionalism by following policies, procedures, and identifying areas for clinical growth.
Promote patient satisfaction by responding courteously and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
Ensure safety by adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and using proper body mechanics.
Individualize patient care based on conditions, procedures, and anesthesia types.
Support Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) by evaluating orders and ensuring timely completion of patient testing.

Physical Requirements: As defined by Occupational Safety/OMS.
