Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT - Peds - FS

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas served by the department. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic treatments as prescribed, recording treatment information and patient responses, performing diagnostic testing and monitoring, providing age-appropriate care, maintaining respiratory equipment, and participating in quick response teams for cardiac and respiratory arrests.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program
- Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within 12 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
Additional Information:
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment operation
- Clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems
- Ability to interpret patient needs and provide appropriate care
- Good interpersonal and stress management skills
- Basic computer skills
