Job Title:

• Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist)

Location:

• Hospital setting (fixed unit and/or mobile unit in IPD/OR/ER)

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiologic procedures to evaluate pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Responsibilities include determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices. The role involves patient preparation, equipment setup, performing imaging procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards. Additional duties include documentation, teaching new hires or students, and maintaining high-quality image delivery into PACS and RIS systems.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must maintain required hours of continued education.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of hire).
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hospital settings with fixed and mobile radiologic units.
