Job Title: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Job Summary:
In this position, the Sonographer performs Ultrasound procedures to obtain desired imaging results according to physicians' specifications. Responsibilities include transferring patients for examinations, assisting with the Ultrasound examination process, and ensuring high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient care and safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of experience in general and vascular Ultrasound (excluding ABIs, segmental pressure, echo, and breast).
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn relevant applications.
• Associate’s degree.
• ARDMS registry certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Additional Information:

• Responsible for the appropriate operation of all Ultrasound imaging and related equipment.
• Educates, positions, and immobilizes patients for Ultrasound procedures.
• Coordinates examinations to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care.
• Submits required images and clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Practices sterile techniques and follows infection prevention policies.
• Handles multiple tasks/projects and meets deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
