Job Summary:
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the joint replacement population from pre-operative class to recovery. This includes demonstrating knowledge of the principles of caring for the following, but not limited to, in-patient processes/protocols, disease process, risk factor identification, patient and family education, patient experience, and community resources.

Required Qualifications:

• Epic experience: Minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months within the past year.
• Previous program development and implementation experience with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using equipment and software, including Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, physicians, co-workers, and the community.
• Strong collaborative work style.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent experience in orthopedics.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

• Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Orthopedic Nurse Certification from the Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board or other relevant specialty certification.
