Description

Job Title: Surgical Tech - Travel

Location: Not specified

Job Summary: Assist in the care of surgical patients by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures. The Surgical Tech must understand the procedures being performed, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, and ensure quality patient care during operations. Responsibilities include maintaining the sterile field, following physician and RN instructions, and adhering to hospital policies related to the Operating Room. The role also involves practicing Standard Precautions, maintaining a safe environment in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards, and tolerating long periods of sitting, standing, or walking. Physical requirements include the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.

Required Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technician
High School Graduate or GED
Graduate from an accredited program

Preferred years of experience : 1 years
