Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist specializes in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. The role may also involve conducting general diagnostic radiology examinations. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating CT equipment, administering intravenous contrast media, and ensuring high-quality imaging. The technologist adheres to radiation protection principles and assists radiologists in complex diagnostic procedures while maintaining accurate documentation in medical and radiology systems.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
• Strong customer service skills, including communication, ownership, and teamwork.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to learning.
• Respect for diversity and adherence to customer service values.

Additional Information:

• May work in a hospital with a fixed unit or in an ambulatory Mobile Unit at a Medical Center.
• Potential exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and contagious patients.
• Occasionally required to lift or move equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 lbs.
