Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN will identify patient needs, determine priorities for care, and develop individualized care plans through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practices. The RN will provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• 2 recent years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience.
• Strong background in Telemetry.
• Tele certified.
• ASN degree.
• Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS - AHA certification.
• ACLS - AHA certification.
• PALS certification.
• Telemetry certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of PACU experience.
• BSN degree.

Additional Information:

• Hybrid nurses able to work in ICU, Preop, and PACU areas.
• Skills required: PACU or ICU trained.
