Job Summary:
Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures. Reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriately prioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of critical situations. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of current experience.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification (must be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute).
• Primary ARRT certification.
• NM State License.
• ARRT(CT) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Epic experience.

Dosimeter Requirements: The supply of a dose badge is essential for monitoring radiation exposure in the workplace. Each employee's cumulative dose must be tracked, and it is the agency's responsibility to provide these badges. Dosimeters like Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) or Thermoluminescent Dosimeters (TLD) must be replaced and evaluated quarterly to ensure their reliability. Failure to supply an employee with a dose badge can lead to consequences, including contract termination, as it jeopardizes workforce safety and violates health regulations. Therefore, agencies must prioritize the issuance and management of dose badges to ensure a safe working environment.
